Okay, listen. I know I am the worst at this. Every few months I'm on fire...and then I completely stop blogging again. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to be more consistent with this. Until then, I'm here now.
The last blog I wrote was probably in March. Since then, a few things have happened. I officially have been working for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. I'm a member of the promotions team, and it's been great to be back in baseball. While it's not a full time gig, I do make some money and I get to have fun. So, I'll take it. In May, I got to go back home and watch one of my best friends get married. It felt so good to be in The Sunshine State, even if it was only for a weekend. The Army sent Connor to Poland for most of June, but he's back. Ivy has grown quite a bit, and is still my favorite pain in the butt. Connor and I caught wind that we might be able to move onto post before the end of this year. Which would be awesome, but (as is practically everything with the Army) nothing is 100%.
Besides that we are just here living life. I am so glad it is summertime. Which means practically nothing when you're an adult, but it does mean warmer weather and being by the water. These things aren't quite the same in Colorado, but I will take what I can get.
So without further ado, I am going to try to type up some posts and get them out to you in July.
Oh and welcome to The Shep Diary because on (most) legal paper work I am officially Kaitlyn Shepard so we had to switch things up a little bit!
Until next time,
K.Shep
